I looked at the Mongrel Miniatures, but there were no pics.

Yes, in the end I went for the marine heads in the GB mo-fo, range. I was imprecise in saying the problem was Bergens, I meant 1980s webbing - but *honestly* they're great for my purposes.

I suppose what I wanted was either No 2 or No 13 dress.Diplomatisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04154642903216207181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8316437260668122878.post-83254326489258743962015-02-28T19:23:20.877+00:002015-02-28T19:23:20.877+00:00I'll start today's session after I've ...I'll start today's session after I've done tea (or dinner or supper, depending on where in Manchester you live). Nothing earlier because there were two Six Nations matches and tomorrow afternoon's out too (England v. Ireland).
Painting's due to pick up because, although I'm not creative enough to have a 'mojo' (and I probably couldn't get a licence for it anyway), my annual bout of winter apathy has ebbed and I'm all set to get back in the swim.
Oh yeah, Mongrel Miniatures (currently owned by Newline Designs) and Gripping Beast (see MoFo range) actually do British troops without Bergens and GB do a range of separate heads too. Eureka do a range of Aussies in Vietnam, but they have boonie hats and a mix of weapong, of which only some are SLRs.GaryAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06963552380378929829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8316437260668122878.post-56975563516073203772015-02-28T19:03:00.560+00:002015-02-28T19:03:00.560+00:00I've only ever made two orders to GB before no...I've only ever made two orders to GB before now (one of which was for some Falklands Brit's - still not painted) and am happy to say nice things about them.
Dougie's blog has some useful tutorials for camo' schemes should you require them:
http://dougieswargamingblog.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Figure%20TutorialAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8316437260668122878.post-57882197635995620192015-02-28T18:09:45.911+00:002015-02-28T18:09:45.911+00:00My painting is very slow too at present but I thin...My painting is very slow too at present but I think the poor light and general dreariness doesn't help.legatus hedliushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17078980742683576345noreply@blogger.com
