Lovecraft Listening

It's been a while since I posted (or painted for that matter).

For today I'll contain myself to recommend some listening I've been following - the HP Lovecraft series produced by Ladbrooke Radio.  Good stuff.

  1. One of my favourite Lovecraft stories. You should check out the Dark Adventure Radio Theatre audio dramas...a bit pricey but excellent. http://www.cthulhulives.org/radio/dart/dart-atmom.html

  2. Great to hear from you Edwin, now when you say free, does that mean when you stream it. There seemed to be a price on the first one I looked at.

    1. Possibly. Technical terms like 'streaming' are beyond me. I played them 'live' from the website and listened to them without paying.

    2. I think that's streaming, but certainly going to give that a go over the weekend.

  3. For people like me who are relative newcomers to Lovecraft, but vaguely know the plots of 'Innsmouth' and 'Mountains', the short stories are well-worth listening to.

Some of them remind me of the best of Provost James' stories.

  4. Good to see you online mate. I love listening to Lovecraft too. There are good free podcasts to add to the lists, through which I have discovered some of his wider works.
